On January 13, I arrived in Gainesville, Georgia for training camp. I was warmly welcomed in by my squad. My squad has been the biggest blessing. The community we have already established after just two weeks, makes me so excited to do life with them for the next 12 (you can see us all in the pic below)!

Training camp was filled with worship, sermons, team building, and preparing our hearts to go out onto the field. We got to spend intentional time with the Lord and in community with one another. 6 of the people on my squad got baptized, which was so cool to able to witness! We all were reminded that the Lord hand picked our team and were encouraged

Every day we were woken up to a fun song, followed by sessions and debriefs with our squad. The days were long, but training camp flew by.

45 travel hours later, we made it to Eswatini and I could not be more excited to settle in and make this our home for the next 6 week. We started ministry on Thursday (1/30/24). More information and cute pictures to come!

The greatest adventures often begin with a single step of faith, and God\'s call to serve in South Africa represents exactly that for me. As I prepare for this journey, I\'m deeply grateful for the community of believers who make this mission possible through both prayer and financial partnership. Through this blog, I\'ll share updates about our mission trip, stories of transformation, and ways you can stay connected with what God is doing in this beautiful nation. Thank you for considering how you might be part of this journey as we work together to expand God\'s kingdom in South Africa.
